Introduction

St Aloysius is a Catholic school with strong links with the Parish and the other neighbourhood schools and the local community.
We work hard to ensure that each child is given the opportunity to develop as an individual and is nurtured within our ethos of respect, safe in the knowledge that they are known and loved by God.
Children’s attainment is good and their many achievements are celebrated in our weekly awards assemblies and our annual Let’s Celebrate. Pupils are proud of their learning which is enriched through our creative learning opportunities, through the use of visits and visitors to the school and our enhanced creative curriculum.
St Aloysius embraces Knowsley's model of collaborative working. We believe that the Collaboratives give rise to opportunities for Headteachers, subject leaders, pupils and parents to work together in a joined-up way to focus on common aspects of school improvement and to share expertise and resources. The Sports Development team for the NHLC is based at St Aloysius which helps to enhance pupil learning through sporting opportunities.
