Intelligence Hub

22 Oct 09

Intelligence HubIt is widely acknowledged that the recent attention to professional dialogue has improved the skills and practice of teaching professionals. In relation to this it should be recognised that NHLC schools have an enormous pool of knowledge, experience and specialisms that exist within its staff.

Therefore the development of a Collaborative Intelligence Hub will bring together teachers and support staff across the NHLC to share their skills, knowledge and expertise with other professionals and colleague practitioners.

The Intelligence Hub will:

  • allow teachers and support staff to deliver or attend sessions suited to their interests.
  • be a forum where staff can share ideas and advice on curriculum areas.
  • allow staff to explore CPD opportunities that will benefit their professional development.
  • generate recognition of skills that some staff may possess but not necessarily utilise during the 'normal' working day.
  • be an elective system where staff can volunteer to deliver workshops, lecture sessions or 'INSET' based on their specialist area.
  • encourage inter-professional and professional dialogue between schools, deparrtments and key stages.
  • generate goodwill, networking and progessional recognition for the skills and abilities of staff from all key stages.

Full timetable of Intelligence Hub sesions and events is avaliable to download.
