Winning poster for website

14 Dec 07

Before the NHLC launched this website all involved wanted to create a vital marketing tool that could be used on a local and national basis to promote the site. Hence a poster competition was held in all NHLC schools, which gave pupils the opportunity to express their artistic flare.

Many entries were received and it was impossible to choose just one winner, so a number of pupils from St Columba’s Longview and St Dominic’s were awarded runner up prizes. However, Fai Marie Barnes from St Dominic’s was chosen as the overall winner. All pupils who entered were awarded prizes by a special celebrity guest at the official website launch.

Fai Marie’s poster has now been professionally re-designed by Acme Art, a renowned Liverpool based design company. Acme Art designers will visit St Dominic’s and give a presentation to pupils about the design process of the poster. The finished poster will now be appearing in various locations, so keep your eyes open!
